What to Expect for Your Vitamin Infusion?
Step 1
Allow you to get comfortable in our infusing recliner (heated for your comfort as needed).
Step 2
Complete necessary intake forms.
Step 3
Obtain a baseline set of vitals.
Step 4
We will comfortably get our IV started and begin your Vitamin Infusion.
Step 5
Your Vitamin Infusion will take 45 minutes. After completion, we will obtain 1 set of vital signs and discharge you home.
Preparation for IV Ketamine Infusion Therapy 1 Day Before
- Reduce any stressful activities or triggers as much as possible
- Reduce caffeinated products.
- Pack any items or activities that help you relax such as a book, music with headphones, or other items that add in relaxation
- Pack a blanket and pillow if desired
- Eat lightly the evening before your infusion
- Avoid food 4 hours before your infusion
- Arrange Your Ride To And From Your Infusion
The Day of Your Ketamine Infusion Treatment
- The infusion takes anywhere from about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Patients report experiences of infusions being dream-like, feeling like they are floating, feeling disconnected from one’s body or the physical space.
- Patients report feeling more introspective.
- Perceptions can come distorted and some more intense.

The Day of Your Ketamine Infusion Treatment
We will reconfirm information obtained from our consultation and assessment. Complete all necessary intake forms.
Step 2
The Day of Ketamine Infusion Treatment
We will obtain baseline blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation and heart rhythm.
Step 3
The Day of Ketamine Infusion Treatment
We will comfortably start your IV and get your Ketamine infusion initiated. During the infusion we will monitor your heart rhythm, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate continuously. We will monitor your blood pressure every 5 minutes. In addition we will administer a small amount of nasal oxygen.
Step 4
The Day of Ketamine Infusion Treatment
Once your infusion is complete we will allow to rest comfortably and recover for 20-30 minutes. We obtain a final set of vital signs and then allow you to be discharged with your driver.
